Gate 30 reaches toward Gate 41, the Gate of Contraction, in the Root Center. When both gates are active, they form Channel 30-41, the Channel of Recognition, part of the Collective Sensing Circuit, and both the Root and the Solar Plexus are defined. When Gate 30 is active without Gate 41, it is a hanging Gate.
The channel joins the Root's pressure to experience something new (Gate 41) with the Solar Plexus's emotional awareness of what that experience could feel like (Gate 30).
