Human Design Transit Chart
Today’s transits, live. A Human Design transit is where the planets are right now. Each of the 13 positions moves through the 64 gates of the wheel, and the transit chart is a picture of that moment, the same for everyone on Earth.
Think of your chart as your climate and the transit as today’s weather: it passes through everyone, and every chart feels it differently.

The share button makes an image of today’s Sun, Earth and Moon gates for your story or your feed. The calendar file holds every Sun gate change for the next twelve months, each linked to its gate guide.
How today’s transit meets your chart
The transit is the same for everyone. What differs is which gates and centers it meets in your chart. There are four cases:
To see which applies to you, add your birth details to the calculator above: it reads all four cases against your own chart, live, for any moment you pick. Or run your free Human Design chart and compare your gates by hand.

Thirteen positions make up every transit. The Sun and Earth carry the largest share of each moment’s imprint; the Moon moves fastest; the outer planets change gate so slowly that they color whole years. Each planet links to its own guide.

FAQ: Human Design Transits
What is a Human Design transit?
A transit is where the planets are right now. The 13 positions of Human Design move through the 64 gates of the wheel, and the transit chart is a picture of one moment of that movement, the same for everyone on Earth.
What is today's Human Design transit?
The live strip at the top of this page shows the Sun, Earth and Moon gates right now, and the date the Sun moves into its next gate. The Sun moves to a new gate about every 5.7 days, the Moon about every 10 hours.
Is this a Human Design transit calculator?
Yes. The calculator on this page shows the transit for right now and steps to any date and time, past or future. Add your birth details and it also shows which of your own channels, gates and centers that sky meets.
Do transits change my Type or Authority?
No. Your Type, Strategy, Authority and Profile come from your birth and never change. Transits are temporary: they bring energy through your chart for a while and then move on.
How does a transit affect my chart?
In three ways. It can complete one of your channels by activating the other half of a gate you carry, it can amplify a gate you already have, or it can bring energy into a center that is open in your chart, which you feel strongly but do not keep. Everything else is the background weather everyone shares.
What is the Human Design transit calendar?
It is the list of dates when the Sun enters each of the 64 gates. On this page it starts at the Rave New Year, shows the dates in your time zone, and you can add the next twelve months to your own calendar.
What is the Rave New Year?

How long does a transit last?
It depends on the planet. The Moon stays in a gate about 10 hours, the Sun and Earth about 5.7 days, Mars about one to two weeks, and the outer planets months or years. The table on this page lists all thirteen.
