What a Global Cycle is

Jovian Archive teaches that humanity lives inside Global Cycles, each set by the slow precession of the equinoxes and each lasting about 400 years. Every cycle is defined by one Incarnation Cross, the same kind of cross every person has, only acting as a background for everyone at once.

Jovian describes the eight Gates of the G Center as locks and a cycle's Gates as the keys that turn them. Those eight Gates are the ones that open and turn every Quarter of the wheel, shown on the Quarters page.

The Cross of Planning, 1615 to 2027

Jovian Archive describes the Cross of Planning, in place since 1615, as the age of the tribe: tribal support, bargains, and the shared structures people built to look after each other, from governments to schools and hospitals.

Its Gates: Gate 16 Skills and Gate 9 Focus on the Personality side, Gate 37 Friendship and Gate 40 Aloneness on the Design side, which make the Channel 37-40 of Community, between the Heart Center and the Solar Plexus Center.

It is anchored in Gates 16 and 9 and the Channel of Community, a Tribal Channel. That fits a cycle built on belonging and the deal between the person and the group.

The Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix, from 2027

The Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix follows it. Ra Uru Hu placed its start in 2027, when the precession of the equinox enters Gate 55, line 6. Jovian Archive describes it as an individual age, when people lean on their own strength rather than on the deal with the group.

Its Gates: Gate 55 Spirit and Gate 59 Sexuality on the Personality side, Gate 34 Power and Gate 20 The Now on the Design side, which make the Channel 20-34 of Charisma, between the Sacral Center and the Throat Center.

It is anchored in Gates 55 and 59 and the Channel of Charisma, an Individual Channel. The cycle moves from a Tribal Channel to an Individual one, which is the shift in miniature.

The Solar Plexus mutation

Jovian Archive also teaches that the Solar Plexus is mutating, with a turning point in 2027: emotions move from quick reactions toward a clearer, slower truth. Gate 55, where the new cycle begins, sits in the Solar Plexus.

If your Solar Plexus is defined, your Authority is Emotional: you find your truth over time, not in the moment. That stays the same through 2027. Your chart does not change.

What Ra Uru Hu said about 2027

Ra Uru Hu taught that the precession of the equinox, a slow drift of the sky over centuries, moves backward around the wheel. In 2027 it leaves Gate 37 (Friendship) behind and enters Gate 55 (Spirit), line 6, the line he titled Selfishness. He read that step as the end of a tribal age and the start of an individual one, driven by the mutation in Gate 55.

Ra saw Gate 55 (Spirit) and Gate 49 (Principles) as the two main drivers of the Solar Plexus mutation. Jovian Archive adds that this mutation has been underway for hundreds of years, moving people from needing outside approval toward an inner sense of what is true.

Jovian's 2027 page, under Ra's name, describes the systems people lean on for security, such as governments and economies, as already strained while the Cross of Planning fades. It teaches that they continue to break down in the new cycle, and that the weight shifts from surviving together to standing on your own.

Ra also set 2027 inside a longer story. Jovian dates humanity's change from seven-centered to nine-centered beings to 1781, and describes Ra's teaching that after 2027 a new kind of human being, which he called the Rave, would begin to appear.

None of this is taught as a reason for fear. Jovian frames it as a fresh start, and its answer stays the same: live your own design.

How to meet 2027

Jovian's stance is plain. 2027 is not the end of the world, it is not something to fear, and it cannot be controlled. It is met the way everything in Human Design is met: by living your own design, through your Type, Strategy and Authority.

Jovian teaches the Solar Plexus change as unfolding over several years, and gives no exact day for the shift.

Born with either cross
