Energy flows from Gate 60 in the Root up into Gate 3 in the Sacral: the pressure to mutate meets the life force to sustain something new. Pressure builds during the off-pulse, mutation occurs in the space between pulses, and the new form emerges through Gate 3's ordering. On phase
When the pulse is on, there is sudden clarity, decisiveness and the energy to act. You can express yourself clearly and move with purpose. This is when you respond and create.
Off phase
When the pulse is off, there is melancholy, indecision and waiting. The creative energy seems to disappear. It feels like stagnation, but it is the phase that matters most: the mutation is incubating in the stillness.
