Gate 8: Contribution
Located in the Throat Center; its I Ching hexagram is Holding Together. Gate 8 is the outward voice: contributing what is uniquely yours to the collective by sharing your authentic self-expression. It provides the "how", the mechanism by which inner originality becomes outer impact, and it looks to Gate 1 for the creative power to feed what it shares.

Energy flows from Gate 1 in the G Center to Gate 8 in the Throat, so your identity is the source and your voice is the outlet. You do not create from the mind; the Throat expresses what the G Center already knows. Alone, Gate 1 has inspiration with no consistent voice, and Gate 8 has a voice with no consistent source. The Living Artist
Your life itself is the creative work. You do not need to be a painter or musician to carry this channel, although many with Channel 1-8 are drawn to the arts. Mutative ideas
